01 Who We Are

Tri-vet LLC is a veteran-owned small business based in the United States. The StrengthBoot App is a fitness and conditioning companion app for the StrengthBoot ankle conditioning device and related lower-extremity training. The App is intended for general fitness, wellness, and conditioning purposes.

02 Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: name, email address, and password (managed securely via Firebase Authentication)
• Daily check-in responses: pain levels, range-of-motion self-assessments, stiffness, swelling, and stability ratings
• Workout and program data: exercises completed, sets, reps, session duration, and program selections
• Optional profile details you choose to enter (e.g., injury history context you provide for triage features)
• Any information you submit through a therapist-lead-capture or contact form

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and app usage data (app version, general device type, crash/error logs)
• Approximate usage patterns needed to operate core features (e.g., streak tracking, check-in timing)

2.3 Apple HealthKit Data (only if you grant permission)

If you choose to connect Apple Health, we access the specific HealthKit data types you authorize, which may include: sleep data, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), and related wellness metrics. This data is used only to power in-app features such as your Recovery Score and trend charts. You control this access at all times through your iPhone's Settings app and can revoke it at any time.

2.4 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect payment card information directly (any future subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, and Trivet does not receive or store your card details). We do not collect precise GPS location.

03 How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Provide core App features: check-ins, workout tracking, program building, and progress trends
• Power the AI workout generator (see Section 4 below for how this works)
• Communicate with you about your account, beta testing, or important App updates
• Improve the App's features, reliability, and usability
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health or fitness data for advertising purposes.

04 Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore Database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Functions) — used to securely store account data, check-in and workout data, and to send push notifications. Data at rest is encrypted (AES-256) and data in transit is encrypted (TLS).
• Anthropic API — when you use the AI workout generator, your workout preferences/prompt are sent through a secured, authenticated server-side Cloud Function to Anthropic's API to generate a personalized workout suggestion. Your raw account credentials are never sent to Anthropic. This feature is rate-limited and requires you to be signed in.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

05 Data Retention

We retain your account and app-usage data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App's features (such as long-term trend tracking). If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Beta Testing Note

If you are participating in TestFlight beta testing, your account and data are tagged internally as beta data. This allows us to separate and manage beta-period data appropriately as the App moves toward public release.

06 Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional data collection (such as HealthKit access) at any time via your device settings
• Opt out of non-essential push notifications via your device settings

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, and disclosure of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

07 Children's Privacy

The StrengthBoot App is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at trivetllc@gmail.com and we will delete it.

08 Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest (AES-256, via Google Firebase's default infrastructure). No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this same location with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
